I have not seen Karl in many years, but when I heard of Karl's passing it deeply saddened me. Karl was best friends with my brother Cory Griffiths growing up. I remember him coming over and staying the night with my brother. Of course, I always found him sneaking into my room instead of hanging out with Cory and I would have to shoo him off (haha). My parents would just laugh at his mischievous attempts and his charm. Karl was a great friend to my brother and a great person. His smile and personality truly did light up the room just as everyone else has said. I am now planning my wedding and often visit his old house (mansion :) ) that is now called the Dairy Manor and they are catering my wedding. It is great to think of Karl and of the many memories that he shared with my family and of what a wonderful friend he was to my brother. Cory and Karl managed to somehow keep in touch through college and Cory misses him a lot. The grafitti under the bridge in Turtle Creek (where we all grew up) tells the stories of those funny boys. Karl will be missed forever but so many lives were blessed during his short life. We are all grateful for the time we did get with him!! Now he rests with God.

The blog world lives! I had no idea.

I believe that everybody knows how to dance. Some of us just tend to move more gracelessly than others.

I found this blog a while ago when i was looking for information about Karl's death. Its been hard to get up the strength to even write up here. My name is Emma and Karl and I used to live together , he was my boyfriend for about two years. I guess Mostly i wanted to say how proud I am, just to have known him, and although our relationship was wild at times, he changed my life forever, for the better. We used to read late at night aloud to each other Narnia by C.S. Lewis and It seems dorky now, but to this day I picture Karl talking in a British accent about lions, and witches. A great intellect, athlete, friend, and adventurer, I don't think anyone could say, Karl didn't give 100 percent to everything, and everyone. I remember him laughing, and i guess thats what i miss most. just that big goofy grin. I wish everyone who knew him, the best. Especially his family, Lee, Konner, Karlee, Vic, Michelle, Ema, Kai, Dakota, I will miss him always.

Thus far all I know is that the house was being or just finished being remodeled. I believe they are still trying to determine the cause. Bryn and the rest of the Dresslers are living in their grandpa's old house.
